HIMSOS is the student organization of the Sociology Education Study Program, FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura, serving as a space for developing student potential, leadership, creativity, academic capacity, and community service.
The Sociology Education Student Association, known as HIMSOS, was established as a student organization that accommodates the aspirations, creativity, and potential of students in the Sociology Education Study Program. HIMSOS serves as a partner of the study program in supporting academic activities, talent and interest development, and the strengthening of students’ scientific culture.
HIMSOS also serves as a learning space for leadership, collaboration, responsibility, solidarity, and social awareness so that students develop not only academically but also become sensitive to social dynamics.
HIMSOS was established as a platform for student self-development in academics, organization, leadership, talents and interests, and community service.
HIMSOS plays a role in bridging communication between students and the study program, channeling aspirations, and supporting productive and sustainable student activities.
HIMSOS develops the values of togetherness, responsibility, integrity, social awareness, creativity, and the scientific spirit of sociology.
The organizational structure of the Sociology Education Student Association (HIMSOS) illustrates the coordination among faculty advisors, core executives, field coordinators, divisions, and all Sociology Education students.
